The town of Jupiter is a medium-sized city in the North part of Palm Beach County, Florida. The estimated population for 2009 is 50,606. A popular vacation spot, Jupiter is often referred to as a “beach town”.
Jupiter is well known for its notable landmark, the Jupiter Inlet lighthouse, completed in 1860. The lighthouse is often used as the symbol for Jupiter. Jupiter was incorporated on February 9, 1925.
